Kade Game The Sterling Shore Series 15 edition by CM Owens Literature Fiction eBooks
It had been over a year since I read the 1st book , Hooked on the Game, about the same characters except from Raya's, the h, point of view and I loved it. I I read the second book and it enjoyed it as well, just not as much. I read the 3rd book Sterling Boys. While I liked the main characters including the hero Dane the main couple spent too much time apart, 6 years, due to miscommunication after sleeping together and it really impacted my enjoyment of the book.Like the first book, I loved this book as well. It had been long enough since I read Hooked on the Game that I did not remember conversations or exactly what happened and so it was not a repeat for me. I really enjoyed getting into Kade's head. It made me love him even more. He was a jealous, possessive hero who was loyal and an overall nice guy. He was not a manhoe. The characters spent very little time apart and at no point were with or thought of OP. It was refreshing. I enjoyed reading how he fell in love with Raya, wanting to spent all of his time with her. Kade seemed a lot older than 21 years of age, how he focused on networking and how seriously he took his other responsibilities. I will be reading the author's next book.

Kade Game The Sterling Shore Series 15 edition by CM Owens Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
Loved this one just like I did "Hooked on the Game". This is Kade and Raya's story from Kade's point of view. I still got upset at Kade in this one for not being man enough to think better of Raya. I feel that we got to see a softer side to Kade's father in this one as well. My suggestion would be to read Raya's point of view first and then follow with this book. No cliffhanger.
Loved this book as well as "Hooked on the Game". I loved seeing Kade's perpective on things, it was almost like reading an entirely different book (in the best way). I got a better feel of Kade's character as well. If you enjoyed "Hooked no the Game", then you'll LOVE "Kade's Game" and if you haven't read "Hooked on the Game" I suggest you read that first, before this book, but both are great reads. Just talking about it makes me want to read them again!
CM's writing is the bomb! This is Hooked on the Game story told from Kade's point of view. I have read this series at least four times. Despite reading multiple times it still entertains and stirs the emotions. I love the Sterling Shore series. I just wish there were more!
I love this book and Raya's side of things too. You'll laugh you'll cry your heart will bang out of your chest. The love these two have is a struggle. Raya worries about her Dad and his past and how it will affect Kade and the future he wants. Kade can't get it together enough to tell Raya how he feels. It's a great read, I loved every minute. C.M. Owens always makes me fall in love with her books and all of her characters! Thank you for another book I can treasure!!
While I enjoyed Raya's version of the story better, it was entertaining reading Kade's version. Having said that though, Kade comes off like a typical teenage boy with his non-stop sexual fantasies and his constant hard-on. If Kade was a teenage boy this would be a typical story but the fact that he was a 21yr old man made this aspect of the story ridiculous.
There is also a book in the series on another character, Tag, that I may even read at some point. He seemed like an interesting character.
Okay, so I picked this one up as soon as I finished Hooked on the Game this morning, and I will admit I enjoyed it even more. You really need to have read it first, but seeing Kade's side of the story, after you already know Raya's POV, really added a lot more to my enjoyment of the first. There were a few times I had two kindles going at the same time to compare scenes side by side.
I will probably go back at some point and finish the Sterling Shores series, but I can't say that I will be in any rush to do so. I needed more after finishing with Raya but I can say I am sated for now.
I do highly recommend this for anyone who has read Hooked on the Game.. yes, Sharon, you were right. -)
Again, for adult audiences only, for explicit sexual content, perhaps a little more than in the first book.
You don't need to read Kade's side of the story but adds depth to it. Just like you don't have read Raya's but I have to tell you I am glad I did just because it really does make you understand her just like reading Kade's made me understand his. If I am reading a first person book I like when they go and forth between the characters, but if they don't, writing a second book with the other person's side is very nice. I read the first book in a book set and loved the story so much I had to read this one also. C.M. Owens does a wonderful job of giving you a great story with a lot of the emotions that are happening, spicing it up with some sex scenes but that is not the main focus of the story. The main focus is the people; who they are, what makes them who they are and what they are feeling. Leaving you with a complete story. Even though I am really trying to limit my spending on books I am now going to have buys Tag and Ash's book.
